Department of Statistics of the Karaganda region is one of the largest territorial bodies of Statistics Agency RK, which is implements the most important task for the government, businesses and the general public of objective statistical information on socio-economic development in the region, and also performs other functions in the field of state statistics, including state control to ensure compliance with laws and regulations of the Republic of Kazakhstan Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the field of state statistics.

        Department is headed by Iskakov E.S Chief of Department and his deputies Komutova S.A and Trinchuk S.T. The structure of the Department are 15 branch departments, that are managed by Dasaeva N.Y, Serkibaeva T.K, S. Akhmetov, Kindyakova T.G, Azhmuratova N.K, Nasharova S.A, Gusev S.V, Em, L.V, Zhakupova S.K, Poznysheva I.V ,Pak G.W, Chernogorova E.O, Gerasimchuk N.A, Buss E.N, Usembekov SK and 18 city and regional statistical offices.

    The Department of Statistics of the Karaganda region is now occupied by 292 people; who are 234 administrative civil servants. Women in the Department of State employees are 92%.
