The Department of the statistics is a territorial organ Agency of Statistics of the Republic of Kazakhstan, which realizes the important problem on provision state organ, business circles and the public of the area and republics varied and objective statistical information on social-economic development Aktobe region, realizes and the other functions on checking and control for realization state politicians in sphere of statistical activity on territory of the area.

In organs of the state statistics of the region occupied 247 persons, from the 164 - administrative state employees, other 66 - a workmans of computer center on statistics. Among workers of system 81% make women. 68 persons work in statistical organs over 15 years, 12 are honours pupils of statistics of the Republic Kazakhstan. Among state employees 85% have high (79% - high economic) and 15% - an average vocational training, 31% have a length of service of the work on state service from 5 before 10 years and 32% - more than 15 years; the kazakhs amongst state employees form 89%, russian - 6%; the share workman at age before 30 years is 25%, at age from 31 before 40 years - 19%, from 41 before 50 years - 45%; middle age working makes 41 years.

The Department of the statistics head - a chief Boranbaeva A.O., its deputies Beisov Zh.Zh., Zhekeev K.S. In structure of the Department 11 managements, which now manage Galkina I.F., Artemieva N.P., Ivanova N.G., Fedina L.I., Lim R. U-S., Korotkova L.D., Abenova A.Sh., Tashauova U.T., Zhulzhanova Z.B., Iagudina T.V., Sembaeva M. K., Sandibaeva B. T.   In Department enter also its branches -12 district managements of the statistics, among which first heads Berdiev K.O., Amirov M.O., Sagatova A.G., Otegenov A.T., during more than 10 years work in system statistical organs of republic.

Collecting and processing the statistical given state statistics in the field of, organization and undertaking the statistical observations and other special examinations, as well as publication and spreading to statistical information in region, in close-fitting interaction with Department of the statistics realizes the Computing center on statistics Aktobe region, being affiliated state enterprise of the Republican state enterprise "Information-computing center Agency RK on statistics".
